Herbert and Carolyn Stevens of Ashland will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on July 25, 2009, at the home of Asa and Rebecca Romine.
The couple were married on July 25, 1959.
His parents are the late Arthur and Martha Stevens.
Her parents are the late Clyde and Imogene Price.
They are the parents of Carla Ritchie and Herbert Keith Stevens, both of Westwood, Pamela Barney of Raleigh, N.C., Regina Taylor of Shelby, N.C., and Rebecca Romine of Westwood.
They have eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
