Emmitt and Nada Salisbury will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Saturday, Dec. 6, 2008, with an open house at South Portsmouth Church of God, formerly South Portsmouth School, by their children.
They were married on Nov. 15, 1958, in South Shore.
They attend South Portsmouth Church of God and spend time at their grandchildren’s events. They spend the winter in their home in Florida and enjoy fishing and going to the beach.
They are the parents of Sheila Salisbury of South Shore; Bryan and Marsha Salisbury of Tennessee; John (Lee Ann) Bower of South Shore; Danny (Regina) Wright of South Schore; and Herb (Missi) White of Wheelersburg and they have nine grandchildren.
