Tom and Mary Stewart Williams of Ashland will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 14.
The couple were married in Ashland at the home of the groom’s parents, by the Rev. Chester A. Fryman on June 10, 1959.
He was a member of IBEW Local 317 and Poage Lodge 325.
She is a member of the Red Hat Society and is the current queen.
They enjoy spending time with their granddaughter, Hannah, gardening, reading and playing guitar.
They are the parents of David Williams of St. Petersburg, Fla, and Jeff Williams of Ashland.
There will be a short ceremony and luncheon hosted by the children.
