Dixon


Ronald and Helen Greening Dixon celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 6.

The couple were married on June 6, 1959, at Centenary United Methodist Church.

He is retired from General Telephone Co. and was in the Naval Reserve. He is a Sunday school teacher and a member of the Gideons and Chadwicks Creek Bluegrass Gospel Group.

She is retired from Kentucky Farmers Bank and a former volunteer at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital in Russell. She is currently the financial secretary for Centenary United Methodist Church.

They are both members of Centenary United Methodist Church and they both volunteer at King’s Daughters Medical Center.

They are parents of Rhonda Dixon of Columbus; and the late Rick Dixon and Amy Dixon; they have one grandchild, Whitney Dixon.

They enjoy traveling in the Caribbean with their daughter to St. Martin, St. Maarten, West Indies, Paradise Island, Nassau in the Bahamas, Cancun and the United States.

A celebration was given Saturday at Armco Park, hosted by their family, along with the annual Dixon-Greening reunion.

They recently celebrated a week on Paradise Island in the Bahamas with their daughter.
