ASHLAND —
Mr. and Mrs. Roger Wheeler celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on June 2, 2012, with a party hosted by their children and their families at the Elite Catering ballroom. Many of their friends and family attended.
Roger W. Wheeler and Juanita L. Wheeler were married by the late Everett Slone, pastor at the 39th Street United Baptist Church, on May 26, 1962, at the home of Juanita’s parents, the late Willie P. and Alta M. Wheeler of Ashland.
Mr. Wheeler is retired from Ashland Chemical Co. and Juanita is retired from Ashland Oil, Inc.
They are the parents of two wonderful children, Beverly Lynn Wheeler Fruth (Brian) of Mount Sterling and Gregory Roger Wheeler (Angela May) of Ashland; and five beautiful grandchildren, Kristina, Keri Beth and Ryan Wheeler of Ashland, and Tyler and Brandon Fruth of Mount Sterling.
