FLATWOODS —
Earl and Reba Kazee of Flatwoods will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary with their family and friends. A surprise party hosted by their family was given at Wurtland Missionary Baptist Church.
They were married on July 26, 1961, at the home of the bride’s parents in Flatwoods by Elder Charlie Lyons.
He is the son of the late Elmer Kazee Sr. and Alma Scaggs Kazee. He is retired from CSX Railroad in Raceland.
She is the daughter of the late Lonnie Slone Sr. and Gertrude Puckett Slone. She is retired from the Flatwoods Post Office.
They are both members of Wurtland Missionary Baptist Church.
They are the proud parents of son, Michael; daughter, Cindy; and grandparents of Brian.
They are much loved and adored by their friends.
