ASHLAND —
Joe R. and Emma VanHoose Mullins celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary Nov. 1 with a family dinner party at the Chimney Corner Cafe in Ashland.
They were married Nov. 1, 1962, in Floyd County, and have lived in the Tri-State for 40 years.
Mr. Mullins is a retired U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Kentucky and Mrs. Mullins is a homemaker. They attend Unity Baptist Church and enjoy camping and spending time with family and friends.
They have one daughter Susan (Philip) Thompson of Ashland; two grandchildren, Russ Thompson of Louisville and Kayla Thompson of Ashland; one great-grandchild child, Haiden Thompson of Louisville.
