Judy and Donald Liles of Greenup marked their 50th wedding anniversary on Dec. 23.
They were married Dec. 23, 1961, at the Greenup Christian Church by Jim Muron, minister.
Mr. Liles, the son of the late Sidney and Elvira Liles, is a retired principal and educator for the Greenup County Board of Education.
Mrs. Liles is a certified surgical technologist at Our Lady of Bellefone Hospital and King’s Daughters Medical Center. Her parents are the late Dorothy Thornsbury and the late William Thornsbury.
They are members of St. Mary’s Catholic Church and have two children, Andrew Liles and his wife, Beth, of Oceanside, Calif., and Todd Liles of El Paso, Texas.
A summer reception is planned.
