FLATWOODS —
Mr. and Mrs. Robert Caniff of Flatwoods celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on May 14, 2012, with a reception hosted by family members May 12 at the home of Robert Caniff Jr. of Russell.
Bob Caniff and Barbara Ann Stephens were married on May 14, 1952, in Ashland.
Mr. Caniff is a U.S. Navy veteran and a retiree of Armco Inc. Mrs. Caniff is a retiree of Ashland Oil. They have lived in the Flatwoods area for more than 50 years.
They are the proud parents of Robert Caniff Jr. (Cindy) of Russell, Steve Caniff (Vickie) of Cannonsburg and Jim Riggle (Melissa) of Fort Wayne, Ind.
They have seven grandchildren: Brandon Caniff (Stacey), Laura Caniff Patrick (Jerrod), David Caniff (Amanda), Jimmy Caniff (Jessee), Ashley Caniff Harmon (Aaron), Jessica Chester (Dale) and Erica Riggle Newhard (Thom); and two great-grandchild, Kaden Riggle and Lydia Chester of Fort Wayne.
