Keith and Shawnda Childers of Wurtland celebrated their 30th wedding anniversary on Aug. 28 at Tamarack in Beckley, W.Va.
They were married Aug. 28, 1979, in Flatwoods by the late Rev. Whitey Gullett.
He is the son of Joyce Childers of Flatwoods and the late Elmer F. Childers. He is retired with the U.S. Air Force as staff sergeant.
She is the daughter of Lovada Hall of Flatwoods and the late John F. Hall. She is a homemaker.
They are both members of the Abundant Life Pentecostal Church in Raceland.
They are the parents of Michael Childers and his wife, Laura, of Flatwoods and they have one granddaughter, Alaura Childers.
