ASHLAND —
Silas and Beulah Oney of Ashland celebrated their 60th wedding anniversary on Nov. 8 in Summit.
The couple were married Nov. 8, 1952, by Arther Shivel in Ashland.
Mr. Oney is the son of the late James Lee Oney and Mary Griffith Oney. He served in the Korean War and retired from Armco. He is employed part-time at Wal-Mart and is a member of the Church of Christ in Westwood.
Mrs. Oney is the daughter of the late Virgel and Myrtel Sammons Davis. She retired from Hecks, Parsons and Sears and is a member of the Church of Christ in Westwood.
They are the parents of daughters, Deborah Lynn Conley of Ashland, Theresa Kay Haney of Ashland, and the late Yvonne Dee Oney; and son, Silas Craig (Kathy) Oney of Cedar Rapids, Iowa. They have eight grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
