ASHLAND —
David and Ramona Webb of Ashland will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on Thursday, Dec. 29, 2011.
Mr. and Mrs. Webb were married on Dec. 29, 1961, at First Baptist Church in Ashland, by the Rev. William H. Vallance.
He is the son of the late William L. and Myrtle Brown Webb. He is retired from the U.S. Postal Service and is employed by The Kroger Company.
She is the daughter of the late Charles and Myrlie Fyffe VanHorn and was raised by her grandparents, the late Herbert and Emma Jordan VanHorn. She is retired from Adelphia Cable and is employed at the Ashland Tennis Center.
They have three children, Susan (Richard) Maddix and Jennifer (Lee) Whetsel, both of Ashland, and Jerri (Tyler) Prince of Lexington. They have seven grandchildren, Cory and Shannon Maddix, Ryan and Kayla Whetsel, and Sydney, Griffin and Gabby Prince. They celebrated in September with a trip to Hawaii, visiting the islands of Oahu and Maui.
