CATLETTSBURG —
Rob and Robin Stewart Armstrong will celebrate their 30th wedding anniversary on June 2, 2012, with a reception from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Kenova United Methodist Church, 503 15th St., hosted by their children, Rusty Armstrong of Catlettsburg, and Ryan Armstrong of Ashland.
The couple were married May 22, 1982, at Christ United Methodist Church in Ashland by the Rev. James Powell and the Rev. Mason Harrod.
Mr. Armstrong is a May 2012 graduate of Morehead State University with a bachelor’s degree in elementary education. He is employed as a substitute teacher with the Ashland independent schools and is a son of Rebecca Stone Armstrong and the late Lawrence Armstrong of Catlettsburg.
Mrs. Armstrong also is an employee of the Ashland independent schools at Verity Middle School and is a daughter of the late William and Anna Marie Stewart of Ashland. They both are members of the Kenova United Methodist Church.
