ASHLAND —
Richard and Judy Hoffman will celebrate their 60th wedding anniversary on June 21, 2012.
The couple were married in 1952 by the late Rev. J.S. Faulconer at the First Christian Church in Ashland.
Mr. Hoffman is a U.S. Army veteran and retired from the Electrical Workers Local 317 after 46 years of service. He has volunteered with River Cities Harvest and Meals on Wheels since 1997.
Mrs. Hoffman retired from the Ashland Children’s Clinic in 1987 after 17 years of service and she has volunteered at King’s Daughters Medical Center for nearly 20 years. They are both longtime members of Bridges Christian Church in Russell.
They have one son, Stephen (Linda) Hoffman; three grandchildren, Amie (Jeff) Schwendeman, Kelli Laughman and Jonathan Hoffman; four great-grandchildren and a fifth great-grandchild due in November.
