ASHLAND —
Jim and Sue Conley Walthall of Ashland celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on July 14, 2012, with a family dinner in Bardstown.
The couple were married July 14, 1962, at the First Presbyterian Church in Ashland by Dr. Samuel Curry.
The Walthalls have two daughters, Jill Easterling and husband, Dan of Ashland, and Susan Barber and husband Jimmy of Lexington. They have three grandchildren, Rebecca and Mallory Easterling and Dylan Barber.
Mr. Walthall has 39 years of service with Armco Steel and is a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Ashland. He is the son of the late John and Elise Walthall.
Mrs. Walthall is a retired secretary and was employed by Kitchen-Whitt Wholesale Company and Ashland Asphalt Paving Company. She is a member of Centenary United Methodist Church in Ashland. She is the daughter of the late Zed and Estel Conley.
