ASHLAND — Delbert F. Pierce and Thelma J. Thompson Pierce of 819 Edgewood Ave. in Ashland are celebrating their 57th wedding anniversary.

The couple were married on Feb. 17, 1956, at Holy Family Church in Ashland.

Their union has been blessed with eight children: five sons, Frank, Mike, David, Brian and Scott; and three daughters, Theresa Finfrock, Stephanie Gaskins, and Betty Anne Mayo.

Through their 57 years the blessings continue with 17 grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren, with one on the way.
