ASHLAND —
Anita Pauline and John “Jack” Ross celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Nov. 24, 2012, at the Chimney Corner Restaurant with a family dinner hosted by their sons and daughters-in-law, Lucien and Dottie and John and Linda.
The couple were married Nov. 27, 1942, in West Liberty.
Mrs. Ross retired from Ashland school system after teaching 31 years in various schools in Ashland and Boyd County.
Mr. Ross was senior vice president chief lending officer and a member of the board of directors when he retired on Jan. 31, 1989, with 37 years at Third National Bank in Ashland.
The Rosses have three grandchildren, Melissa Ross Adkins and husband, Dr. Henry Adkins, Susan Ross and Stuart A. Ross. They also have five great-grandchildren, Katelyn Adkins, Tyler Adkins, Nicole Ross, Dylan Ross and Kennedy Spurlock.
