The USDA bets on soybeans, but farmers considering more corn

The U.S. Department of Agriculture expects Illinois farmers to plant less corn this spring and more soybeans, following a national trend, but soybean prices have dropped sharply the past few weeks, making corn much more profitable, as much as $200 an acre in some parts of Illinois.
