Tim Johnson and Brittany Marcum of Lexington announce the birth of twins, Timothy Rece and Ava Emmelyn Johnson.

They were born at St. Joseph East Hospital in Lexington on March 23, 2009. Timothy weighed 6 pounds and was 18 inches long and Emmelyn weighed 5 pounds, 2 ounces and was 17.5 inches long.

Paternal grandparents are Paul and Rosie Johnson of Louisville.

Maternal grandparents are Tammy Colvin of Louisa and the late Orville Marcum.
