Wiesman — 05/03/09

Joseph and Beth Wiesman, of Lawrenceburg, Ind., announce the birth of twins, Rachel Sue and Jacob Andrew.

They were born at Good Samaritan Hospital in Cincinnati on April 8, 2009.

Rachel Sue weighed 4 pounds and 11 ounces and was 17 1/4 inches long, Jacob Andrew weighed 4 pounds and 6 ounces and was 18 inches long.

They were welcomed home by their big brother, Noah Joseph who is 2 1/2 years old.

Paternal grandparents are Clyde Wiesman and Margaret Briggs, both of Cincinnati.

Maternal grandparents are Bob Kersey of Flatwoods, and the late Sue Kersey, their great-aunt is Barbara Rogers of Ashland.

Although — as Rand Paul proved in 2010 — the political winds can change rapidly in Kentucky politics, both Beshear and Williams enter 2011 as the leaders of their parties in state government.
