Lyn Douglas Powers and James Powers of Louisville announce the birth of their son, Jack Thomas Powers.
He was born May 18, 2009 at Norton Suburban Hospital. He weighed 7 pounds, 5 ounces and was 20 1/2 inches long.
Paternal grandparents are Jane and Tom Powers of Lanesville, Ind.
Maternal grandmother is Sandra Douglas, of Ashland.
Maternal great-grandparents are Ernest and Phyllis Chalupa and great-great-grandmother is Ada Cline.
