Derrick and Jennifer Knight of Greenup announce the birth of a daughter, Moriah Faith Knight.

She was born Oct. 12, 2009, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. She weighed 6 pounds, 1 ounce and was 20 inches long.

Maternal grandparents are Jeff Carr and Jujuana Hieneman of Worthington and Woodrow and Delynda of Tallahassee, Fla. Maternal great-grandparents are Glenn Carr of Greenup and Lyndel and Christy Butler of Manchester, Tenn.

Paternal grandparents are Carlos and Marlene Knight of Chesapeake. Paternal great-grandparents are Juanita Hamlin of Chesapeake and Gerald and Earlene McGuire of Burlington.

She was welcomed home by her big sister, Alexandria Grace, one-year-old.
