Shawn and Julie Thornbury of Ashland announce the birth of a daughter, Emmy Lee Thornbury.
She was born Oct. 2, 2009, at King’s Daughters Medical Center in Ashland. She weighed 6 pounds, 5 ounces and was 19 inches long.
Maternal grandparents are Charles and Jo Ann Copley of Catlettsburg. Maternal great-grandparents are William Baker and Rachel Copley of Ashland.
She was welcomed home by her big sister, Lilah Mae Thornbury.
