Brenda Platt of Ashland and Bruce Platt Jr. of New Port Richey, Fla., announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Deborah DeBard Platt, to Christopher Edward Estep, son of Ray and Jo Ann Estep of Rainelle, W.Va.
The wedding will be July 18, 2009, at Holy Family Catholic Church in Ashland.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and Eastern Kentucky University and is employed as a senior case technician with the Social Security Administration Hearing Office in Huntington.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Greenbrier West High School and Concord University and is employed as a cold drink account manager with Coca-Cola Bottling Co. Consolidated.
