Russell and Annette Ryan of Ashland announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Courtney, to Kenneth Tyler Gilbert, son of Richard and Susan Swim of Ashland.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School and Morehead State University. She is a teacher at Oakview Elementary School.
The prospective groom is a graduate of Paul G. Blazer High School. He is employed at AK Steel.
They will be married May 12, 2012, at Bellefonte Country Club.
