ASHLAND —
Amanda Joy Boers and Joseph Christopher Cantrell are pleased to announce their engagement and forthcoming marriage.
The bride-to-be, daughter of Lisa Bradley of Lexington and Tom Boers of Stowe, Ohio, graduated from Mentor High School in Mentor, Ohio, and completed the requirements in public health and environmental studies at Ohio University in Athens. Upon completion of her internship, she completed her studies in London, England, and is a member of Sigma Kappa Sorority.
The prospective groom is the son of Vicki and Jim Cantrell of Ashland. He graduated from Jackson High School in Canton, Ohio. He attended Ohio University in Athens, Ohio, and completed his bachelor’s degree at the University of Kentucky in Lexington and returned to his native Ashland to pursue his career with Marathon Petroleum.
The exchange of wedding vows is planned for Oct. 13, 2012, at the Cantrell home.
