Tom and Donna Tavis of South Shore announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Sarah Elizabeth Tavis, to Jaron Ryan Hurst, son of Wayne and Sheila Hurst of Greenup.
The wedding will be Oct. 3, 2009, at 3 p.m. at Sunshine United Methodist Church in South Shore.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Greenup County High School and a student at Ashland Community College.
The groom-elect is also a graduate of Greenup County High School, and a ironworker. He is employed at Tri-State Guttering.
