Larry and Beth La Brie of Pine Knoll Shores, N.C., are pleased to announce the engagement of their daughter, Laura Joanne La Brie of Harleysville, Penn., to Joseph Anthony Pergine of Chalfont, Penn. Joseph is the son of the late Fiori Pergine and the late Josephine Pergine.
Miss La Brie is a graduate of Carleton College in Northfield, Minn., and is employed at Vanguard Funds in Valley Forge, Penn.
Mr. Pergine is a graduate of Rochester Institute of Technology in Rochester, N.Y., and is employed with Synthes (USA) in West Chester, Penn.
A Jan. 2, 2010, wedding is planned in Pennsylvania.
