Harold and Linda Erwin of Eleanor, W.Va., announce the engagement and forthcoming marriage of their daughter, Meredith Erwin, to Doug Calhoun, son of Douglas and Brenda Calhoun of Russell.
The wedding will be Nov. 7, 2009, at the Paramount Arts Center in Ashland.
The bride-to-be is a graduate of Buffalo High School and has a bachelor’s degree from Marshall University; and a master’s degree in health promotion from the University of Mississippi. She is employed at West Carter High School as an athletic trainer and teacher.
The groom-elect is a graduate of Russell High School and has a bachelor’s degree in English education and a master’s degree from Morehead State University in education. He is employed with West Carter High School as an English teacher.
