Festival celebrating the arts set for Saturday

FLATWOODS — The Flatwoods Poetry Society’s annual Arts in the Park Festival will be from 10 a.m. Saturday until late afternoon in Flatwoods City Park.

Live music, artists, crafts, food and poetry will be some of the activities and entertainment on tap for the event.

On the schedule of performers are:

10 a.m. — Downfall

11 a.m. — Roger Smith

Noon — Kentucky Memories

1 p.m. — Bronson Bush and Youngblood

2 p.m. — Larry Whitt

3 p.m. — The Sweet Adelines

4 p.m. — Rob Keith

5 p.m. — Kebo Cyrus and Midnight Edition

Those attending are encouraged to bring their own seating to the park, which is off Billy Ray Cyrus Boulevard behind Super Quick.
