The Red Lion Theatre Company encourages the public to face its fears by offering
“The Royale: Haunted Movie Palace” Friday and Saturday and Oct. 30 and 31 at
7:30 p.m. The theater has more than 3,800-square feet of space and will have 19
difference scenes in 10 rooms, featuring favorite horror-movie monsters,
slashers and ghosts and mixing classic scares with new-age techo-terrors, Kory
Helmick of Red Lion Theatre said. The story line is this: The Royale was closed
for more than 50 years after its owner was discovered carrying out some rather
bizzare behavior. Tickets will be sold each performance night until 1:30 p.m.
Cost is $7 for adults and $5 for children 12 and younger. For more information,
call Helmick at (606) 571-6478.
