Words of thanks — 07/13/09

On Tuesday, July 7, River Cities Harvest distributed approximately 19,000 pounds of food and pharmaceuticals to 10 service agencies that serve the less fortunate in our area. These products came from Feed the Children with the support of Naomi Judd.

John Christie of Ben Williamson Supply once again provided the facilities, equipment and personnel necessary to unload this shipment. Young gentlemen from the Ashland Group Home and Ashland Day Treatment Center loaded these materials into recipients’ vehicles.

Charlie and Ruth Rice, Bob Vanover, Lucy Davis and Jennifer Lynn also assisted us.

Many, many thanks to all who participated.

Jim Fout, coordinator, River Cities Harvest
