ASHLAND —
On August 7, CAReS and Chick-Fil-A co-sponsored CAReS Fair at The Neighborhood. It was a day of fun with M&M Inflatables, games for kids, treats, and good information for kids and their parents. The board and staff of CAReS thank all who came and the volunteers for CAReS and the service agencies who shared their information.
Thanks to Tim Porter, Chick-Fil-A general manager, and staff for refreshments for the volunteers, bringing the famous cow, especially the inflatables for the children. Thanks also to the Ashland police and fire departments, the city of Ashland, Southwest Community Action Mature Worker Program, Ashland-Boyd County Health Department, Health Connections volunteers from the King’s Daughters Medical Center, and Lowe's. Greg Goode brought sno-cones, his puppets and his joyous personality. Thanks to radio personality J.B. Miller of Magic B97.9 for the live broadcast.
CAReS received donations of non-perishable foods, personal care items, diapers and other donations that will benefit our clients. Many thanks, Ashland.

The I Believe Foundation for Special Needs Children thanks all the golfers, hole sponsors and the Texas Roadhouse for making our July 30 golf scramble possible.
Without the support of each person it would not have been a success.
Our goal is to one day have a building where we can have activites for our beloved children. God bless each one who helped with our scramble.
