America needs younger Congress

I had hoped and prayed that we as Americans could unite and support President Obama even though he probably was the least quaified and least experienced candidate in our history. However, after his first eight months in office, my hopes are rapidly fading, particularly as more evidence comes to light in regard to the questionable involvement of ACORN, et. al., in the election process.

The president has a rough road to hoe. In my opinion, he has the weakest congressional leadership in history with the likes of Pelosi, Reid, Dodd, etc., and the weakest press secretary that I have ever witnessed in Robert Gibbs.

My real problem is the 30-plus czars that have access to the White House with no oversight and no congressional approval. How many of these czars are connected to the old currupt machine of Mayor Daley in Chcago? Who are they and where do they come from?

While I am sure Congress will never approve term limits for itself, it is obvious that we need new, younger blood in Congress who are more in tune with the times and the younger generation. Terms should be limited to no more than 12 years for the House and the Senate. The amount of pork delivered to states appears to be a determining factor on longevity in Congress.

Tort reform should be high on the agenda as much of our health care costs are due to high insurance premiums doctors have because of all the frivolous lawsuits.

Many NASCAR drivers snubbed

I bleed neither red nor blue. I am a NASCAR fan. Why is it when Mark Martin, Tony Stewart and Jimmy Johnson win, they get a huge writeup? Kyle Bush has won 18 race and he may get two lines.

There are many good drivers out there who never get mentioned. I am sure other fans of NASCAR would back me up on this.
