Gardens getting in shape for tour Sunday

IRONTON — In its fourth year, the Ironton in Bloom, Inc., fundraiser, Over The Backyard Fence, is scheduled for 1 to 4 p.m. Sunday.

She said the organization awards a prize monthly to a residential front yard  and the idea for this tour began from that project.

“The winners always wanted us to see their back yard,” Wolfe said.

The tour will begin at the Lawrence County Historical Museum at, 506 6th St. Tickets, which are $10 per person, and maps will be available there, as well as refreshments throughout the day.
