ASHLAND — Award-winning tenor Eddie Cumberbatch of Trinidad will appear at 7 p.m. July 28 at Meade Station Church of God.
A faculty member at the University of Trinidad and Tobago, Cumberbatch also sings professionally as a soloist and in ensembles. He attended Anderson (Indiana) University and studied voice in private lessons. While in school, he sang in the school’s male chorus and university chorale. He’s performed in the Caribbean, England, South Africa, Hong Kong and the United States and was awarded first place in an international vocal competition.
Appearing with Cumberbatch will be the Rev. Paul and Rita Jo Yerden on Phoenix, Ariz., who are internationally known keyboardists.
The concert is free and the church is at 1315 Marsh Hill Drive.
