The national campaign is hosted by the Meals on Wheels Association of American, with hundreds of local programs participatin and Grayson’s program has participated since its beginning in 2006.
“Our aim during the month of March is to raise funding and awareness and to recruit new volunteers to work with our programs,” Ed Caudill, director of Grayson Meals on Wheels, said.
On Saturday, the agency will have a bucket brigade from 9 a.m. until noon at the intersection of Main Street and Carol Malone Boulevard.
Kentucky Farmers Bank and Grayson Meals on Wheels will have a block party at 10 a.m. in the Slone’s parking lot.
