Ballroom dance lessons planned
HUNTINGTON - Ballroom dance lessons will be offered from 7:30 to 9 p.m. Mondays beginning next week at Premiere Dance Studio, 716 Sixth St.
The six-week course will cover waltz, swing, foxtrot, cha cha and tango, followed by a review class.
No partner is required; participants should dress casually and wear dance shoes or socks.
Cost is $70 per couple or $40 per single for entire session.

Webbville school reunion Sunday
WEBBVILLE - The Webbville School reunion will be at 10 a.m. Sunday at the shelter house.

Ham tests will be Oct. 13
HUNTINGTON - Examinations for those interested in a new or upgraded amateur radio “ham” license from the Federal Communications Commission will be at 9 a.m. Oct. 13 at the Museum of Radio and Technology in Huntington.
Exams are sponsored by the Tri-State Amateur Radio Association, but any qualified candidate may attend and test.
Cost is $15 per test. Applicants must show two forms of accepted identification, including one picture ID, and bring the original and a copy of a current ham radio license and a Certificate of Successful Completion of Examination the applicant claims for credit from a previous exam.
The museum is at 1640 Florence Ave., off Harvey Road on the west side of town.
