ASHLAND —
Hope’s place Children’s Advocacy Center has a sweet event planned this month: the 14th annual Chocolate Extravaganza.
The event, set for 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. March 31 at the Ashland Town Center, will offer a variety of baskets for sale, many including candy and toys, but some baskets will be designed for children and some for adults addressing specific interests.
Hope’s Place also accepts donations of baskets to be sold during the event. Those planning to donate a basket may drop it off at the office at 1100 Greenup Ave. from March 26 to 30. Baskets should arrive with an estimate of their worth; those valued at $150 or more will be placed in silent auction; those valued at $149 or less will be priced for cash and carry.
For more information, call (606) 325-4737.
