HUNTINGTON —
Arts Resources of the Tri-State (ARTS) has formed its first resident acting company.
Nineteen were selected as part of the troupe and will work with ARTS resident directors and others to present six shows in 2013.
Shows in 2013 will include:
“Cabaret” — Feb. 1, 2, 8 and 9.
“Julius Caesar” — March 15, 16, 22 and 23.
“How to Succeed in Business” — May 24, 25, 26 and 31 and June 1 and 2.
“The Man Who Came to Dinner” — Aug. 16, 17, 23 and 24.
“Shenandoah” — Oct. 12, 13, 13, 18, 19 and 20.
“Laughter on the 23rd Floor” — Nov. 29 and 30 and Dec. 6 and 7.
Kentucky residents chosen for the troupe include: Joanna Berner, Jonathan Maynard, Clay McKnight, Sheila Meade and Len Trent of Ashland; Sarah Diamond Burroway and Emma Imes of Flatwoods and Gregory Picklesimer of Greenup.
West Virginia members are Marnie Riddle of Charleston, Stevie Brigode of Cross Lanes, Jenn Naglee, Michael Naglee, Karen Pruitt, Tristan Reynolds, Linda Reynolds, Eric Wilson and Simon Woods of Huntington and Amy Knell Carlson of Milton.
Resident directors are Bill Neal, Gene Anthony, Stephen Vance and Mike Murdock. Resident choreographer is Coni Anthony.
