BRUIN — A man and a woman were killed Wednesday in a one-vehicle accident in Elliott County.
Kentucky State Police at Morehead identified the victims as Lisa A. Crockett, 36, of Olive Hill, and E.H. Evans, 74, of Sandy Hook.
The wreck occurred about 2:40 p.m. on Ky. 7 in front of Bruin Body Shop. The vehicle was southbound when the driver apparently lost control, causing it to spin into an embankment, the KSP said.
The vehicle overturned several times, ejecting both occupants.
The KSP said it had not been determined whether Crockett or Evans was driving.
Both victims were pronounced dead at the accident scene by Elliott County Coroner Mark Lewis.
The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Mike McPherson.
