Ashland — The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
Assault
-A Greenup County woman was charged with a felony Thursday for allegedly assaulting the police officer who was arresting her on an alcohol intoxication charge.
Jennifer J. Potter, 25, of Flatwoods, was lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center, charged with third-degree assault on a police officer. She remained in custody Friday.
Potter allegedly assaulted APD Officer Erik Homan after she was arrested at the Colonial Inn, 1835 Winchester Ave., according to records.
Forgery
-Police arrested Jason D. Brammer, 31, of Ironton, Thursday on a felony charge of first-degree possession of a forged prescription. Brammer allegedly tried to pass the bogus prescription at CVS, 1221 Lexington Ave.
Burglary
-Household items valued at $3,420 were reported stolen Tuesday in a break-in at residence in the 3300 block of Pinehaven Drive.
Theft
-Boyd County Ford, 2101 Greenup Ave., on Thursday reported the theft of vehicle parts valued at $200.
-A resident of Gla-Lo Apartments on Thursday reported the theft of auto parts valued at $100.
-An Ashland man on Wednesday reported that an unspecified item valued at $347.96 was stolen from him in the 5200 block of Williams Avenue.
-A Flemingsburg man reported Wednesday that tools valued at $1,200 were stolen from his vehicle while it was parked at the Ashland Plaza Hotel.
-A man living in the 3200 block of Newman Street on Tuesday reported the theft of tools valued at $300.
Shoplifting
-An Ashland woman was arrested Wednesday for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $309.86 from Kroger.
-An Ashland woman was arrested Tuesday at Wal-Mart for allegedly trying to steal items valued at $240.
-A Flatwoods woman was arrested Tuesday for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $107 from two Ashland Town Center stores, J.C. Penney and Claire’s Boutique.
