ASHLAND —
The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
Burglary
‰ A 42-inch flat-screen television was stolen in a burglary in the 400 block of 29th Street; police searched a suspect and found marijuana in his possession.
‰ Burglars broke the back door window of a residence in the 2100 block of Hilton Avenue and broke in. Police have four suspects and found one of them possessed oxycodone pills.
Theft
‰A resident of the 4000 block of Gartrell Street reported the theft of her purse containing a cell phone, $120 in cash, and personal papers and cards. The owner said she had been in several locations and didn’t know where the purse was taken.
‰A resident of the 2900 block of Robin Lynn Drive reported the theft of a pressure washer from his front porch.
‰A woman reported her camera and camera bag stolen from the bed of her truck while it was parked at King’s Daughters Medical Center Advanced Imaging Center. The camera and bag were worth $800.
‰A resident of the 1900 block of Chattin Drive reported the theft of a wallet, credit cards and a small amount of cash.
‰A resident of the 2500 block of Algonquin Avenue reported the theft of his wallet, $90 in cash and his identification. He named two suspects who were at his home.
Receiving stolen
property
‰After a resident of the 3100 block of Forgey Street reported his lawnmower stolen from his carport, police discovered a suspect trying to pawn the mower.
Multiple offenses
‰Police arrested a suspect who allegedly broke into a vehicle on the lot of the Regional Public Safety Communications Center. When dispatchers confronted the suspect he left the vehicle and tried to flee. When police caught him they found a syringe that had contained methamphetamine. The suspect also threatened to shoot police.
Shoplifting
‰ Walmart reported the theft of merchandise worth $216. Police have a suspect.

Not guilty plea in death of Boyd baby
A Powell County teenager accused in the beating death of an infant pleaded not guilty to the charge Friday.
Brett T. Thompson, 18, of Stanton was arraigned Friday in Boyd County Court.
Thompson has been indicted in the death of 2-month-old Alivia Noel Worstell of Westwood. He was the boyfriend of the baby’s mother, Heather Worstell, 19. -
