COLUMBUS, Ohio — Authorities say a postal carrier has found a newborn baby girl with her umbilical cord still attached at an abandoned home.
Officials say the baby appeared to be several hours old and was wrapped in a plastic bag on the front porch. The baby was found Saturday morning at a house on the east side of Columbus.
The Whitehall Fire Department took the infant, who was in stable condition, to a nearby hospital.
