Lexington man killed in 3-car wreck
WEST LIBERTY
A Lexington man died from injuries sustained in a three-vehicle accident Friday along Ky. 519 in Morgan County.
A statement by Kentucky State Police Post 8 indicates Ronald Zavitz of Lexington was pronounced dead at the scene.
The accident happened shortly before noon when a black 2009 Dodge pickup driven by Brock Standafer crossed the center line and traveled into the northbound lane, striking a 2003 Hyundai operated by Ronald Zavitz. The truck continued and struck a 2001 Chevrolet, causing non-life threatening injuries to three passengers.
The accident remains under investigation by Trooper Royce Collett.
