The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
Theft
‰Rack Room Shoes reported the theft of merchandise worth $184. Police arrested a woman and found the merchandise as well as credit cards and other stolen items.
Possession of drug paraphernalia
‰Police arrested a man in the 2200 block of Lexington Avenue for public intoxication and found him in possession of two hypodermic needles.
Receiving stolen
property
‰Police investigating a report of property stolen in Lexington have a suspect they accuse of selling the property to Tri-State Pawn and Jewelry.
Burglary
‰Police received a report of a break in at the Ashland Ice Rink on Chattin Drive. The door frame was damaged in the break in.
False name
‰A suspect under arrest at Walmart gave police a wrong name in an attempt to conceal her identity. The woman was wanted under a warrant for receiving stolen property.

Morgan man pleads guilty to assault
A Morgan County man entered a guilty plea in Morgan Circuit Court on Wednesday to second-degree assault charges in connection with the injuries he inflicted upon his wife in April 2011 at their home in Ezel, according to the office of Attorney General Jack Conway and his office of special prosecutions.
