Theft
‰A woman on Dec. 23 reported someone broke into her vehicle while it was parked at Movies 10 and stole her purse, which contained a wallet, a flip camera and a Bluetooth device. The purse and its contents had an estimated value of $560.
‰A woman living in the 3400 block of Greenup Avenue on Christmas day reported the theft of glucose testing strips and lancets valued at $700.
‰A resident of the 1500 block of Hilton Avenue on Wednesday reported the theft of $410 cash, a three personal checks and a debit card.
‰A resident of the 1500 block of Montgomery Avenue on Wednesday reported the theft of two U.S. Postal Service packages valued at $200.
‰A man living in the 3200 block of Hampton Street on Wednesday reported the theft of various items, including a snake-skin wallet containing $300, a hunting knife, Blue-Ray movies and Sony PSP games. The stolen items were valued at $920.
‰A woman living in Hillcrest Apartments on Thursday reported the theft of a 51-inch flat-panel plasma TV and assorted jewelry, all valued at $820.
Burglary
‰A woman on Dec. 23 reported someone entered her room at the Winchester Inn and stole three doses of methadone, $40 cash and a pack of cigarettes.
