The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
Drugs
A Carter County man was arrested Thursday night on felony drug-possession charges following a traffic stop in the 200 block of 23rd Street.
Wilson H. Treadway, 49, of Olive Hill, was lodged in the Boyd County Detention Center, charged with first-degree drug possession and DUI.
After stopping Treadway’s vehicle, an officer found Treadway to be in possession of five white oval-shaped pills believed to be OxyContin, the APD said.
Burglary
A woman living in Hillcrest Apartments on Wednesday reported someone broke into her residence and stole a DVD player, a gold necklace, a case with 150 DVDs in it and food items valued at $50.
Basic Computers II, 3510 Winchester Ave., last week reported someone broke in and stole computers and $45 cash.
Theft
A woman living in the 500 block of Blackburn Avenue last week reported the theft of baby items, including a swing and a bedding set.
Shoplifting
A 29-year-old Flatwoods woman was arrested Wednesday at Kroger for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $149.93.
A 25-year-old Langley man was arrested Wednesday at Walmart for allegedly trying to steal merchandise valued at $101.78.
