The following information was taken from Ashland Police Department reports:
Burglary
A woman living in Ashland Terrace Apartments on Thursday reported someone broke into her residence and stole items valued at $845, including a flat-screen TV, a Nintendo Wii gaming console and games, two guitars, an amplifier, Klonopin and jewelry.
A resident of the 3200 block of Hackworth Street on Thursday reported someone had come into his home and removed a Glock .40-caliber handgun valued at $450.
Theft
City of Ashland Water Department employee on Thursday reported a resident of the 1800 block of Belmont Street was stealing water from the city using a stolen meter. Service to the residence had previously been shut off for nonpayment, police said.
