CATLETTSBURG — A Boyd Circuit Court jury on Wednesday acquitted Brian "Trinity" Brewster in the April 30, 2011, death of a 15-month-old girl.
Jurors deliberated about 90 minutes before finding Brewster not guilty of first-degree manslaughter in the abuse death of Cally Erica Jobe.
The verdict capped a three-day trial in Judge C. David Hagerman's court.
Cally's mother, Lakyn Jobe, who testified as a prosecution witness in Brewster's trial, is charged with first-degre criminal abuse in her daughter's death and is scheduled to stand trial in late September.
